THINGS I WANT ON PAYDAY #1

Here is my short (*cough*long*cough*) list of things I desperately want at the moment! With A/W looming on the horizon - unless it's already here - I sense an imminent wardrobe rehaul ;)


Jeffrey Campbell Lita Spike boots ... I have searched everywhere for cheap-but-don't-look-cheap knock-off versions of these babies.  They don't exist.  It's the originals or nothing as far as I'm concerned! I covet them so!! Even if they'd make me look like a giant (I'm 5'8" but wear heels all the time anyway, Amazon ahoy!) I can't stop dreaming of them!

Vans Sk8-Hi Slim Shoes in Leopard Magenta/Blue Radiance Paws off these bad boys, this is the only UK stockists of them I can find.  I've been wanting some Hi-tops for ages and these fit the bill perfectly! Totes getting these as soon as I possibly can.

Topshop Camo Army Jacket After considering The Ragged Priest's Nato Camo Jacket (mentioned in this post here) I decided that I wanted a stud/spike-free jacket, so that I could pair it up with studded/spiked shorts or skirts or whatever.  Cue this Topshop beauty, total laid back cool with added grit :) Plus, it's actually slightly cheaper than TRP's version! Win :)

Hmm dilemma time..I love love love every one of The Ragged Priests shorts, especially these, these and especially these.  But I also love these Ivory Jar versions (thanks The Style Rawr for introducing me to this awesome brand!).  Decisions, decisions...

These Ivory Jar Meteor Leggings are a must-have.  I love the colours and the tie-dye effect.

Topshop Sleeveless Zip Peplum top Peplum is going to be such a massive shape for the coming A/W,  which is great cos it's massively flattering! This top, at only £18 is such a bargain!

Topshop Cross 2 Finger Ring Cross - tick, rose gold - tick, knuckle ring - tick.  Three trends in one! Sold.

 Hokey, seeing as I've now mentally spent £400 I better stop while I'm ahead.  Pay day, watch out ;)

FASHION: Current lusthaves

It may have snowed (a little) this morning, but I'm completely over winter and thinking about my summer wardrobe.  There's so many things online that I am in love with - too many clothes not enough time..or money!  Anyway , here's a selection of my current favourites:

Topshop "knitted summer pastel jumper", £36
Perfect for spring with its cute pastel colours, but still warm enough to wear when it's a wee bit chilly!

Wildfox Couture "leopard spots slip top" £69

I can really imagine this being thrown over a bikini on the beach, or worn with denim cut-offs.  Ideal for summer!

Rare "pleat neck keyhole back dress" £47

Really wanting a tan right now, and of course white is the perfect accompaniment to glowy skin!

Topshop Boutique "fluro flower swing slip" £68

Even if 100% silk is dry clean only and therefore completely unpractical, this is absolutely gorgeous don't you think?!

Miss Selfridge "star and stripe denim short" £30

Ah yes, the aforementioned denim cut-offs :)

Is this not THE most beautiful thing you ever set eyes upon? I burn I perish! And there's only one left in stock at HoF............I rest my case.

FASHION: What I bought last weekend

So after I spent a few months drooling over all the incoming A/W11 trends, my wonderful other half Mike decided to spend his last ever paycheck on - wait for it - me!! This is just a selection of things that I bought, but I was kinda running out of space and patience (Photoshop is a ballache!) 


I love love love the PU items - I've always wanted a leather biker, but was never sure I could pull it off.  But this beautiful cropped number proved me wrong! I would wear it every day if I wasn't scared of being labelled a tramp.  Same for the pencil skirt.. it's mega flattering and verrry sophisticated.  I wouldn't wear the two together obviously, as I am no hells angel...


The leopard sweater is so cosy and comfortable, and looks very good with a black tube skirt or even skinny jeans.  It's not the warmest of items, so if it gets cold this winter (and if last year was anything to go by I'm sure it will!) I will have to layer it up but .. worth it!


I'm having a lazy day indoors today, as it seems that Midlothian is trying to be like east coast USA (too soon?) and blow a hurricane! Still rocking the dressing gown at midday; that's how I like a Sunday to be!
